the sickness.
This thread will explain the Sickness and what to do if you have it.symptoms.
THE FIRST STAGE: An intense migraine is the first symptom or stage in the Sickness. The migraine will probably last for about a week. If it fades away, do not think you're out of the clear. Once it fades, the second stage takes place.
THE SECOND STAGE: Hallucinations are the second symptom of this disease. The infected person will see things so horrible that it will drive them into a deep depression. Most suicides associated with the Sickness happen during this stage.
THE THIRD STAGE: From the hallucinations come severe Schizophrenia. The victim will be confused and violent, detached from the world around them. Victims are especially dangerous during this stage due to the fact that their minds are incredibly unstable. Victims in this third stage are too far gone to be helped. It would be in your best interest to stay away from these people...
THE FOURTH STAGE: After the Schizophrenia is a sharp decline in motor and verbal skills. The infected will wander alone for days on end, then will eventually stop and stay in one spot for days. It's only a matter of time before the internal bleeding starts. When it does, a very intense migraine will return and the victim will die.cures.
Scientists around the world have been working to find a cure to this disease, but to no avail. Yes, scientists have come a long way in learning about the disease, but they still don't know how it spreads so quickly since it's not...contagious. Some people say that the Sickness is a parasite that embeds itself in your brain, some say that it's a virus. No one knows, and by the looks of it, no one will know for a long time to come.what to do.
If you or a person you know contracts the Sickness, you must take the necessary steps to separate yourself from people, or those infected. It is recommended that you make your way to the Gilead Quarantine Facility up north. If you don't want to do that, you can always move.
If you contract the disease, all you can do is wait for it to kill you. This is a sad fact, but a true one...
